Janette Gae McReynolds age 81 formerly of Webb City passed away at her home in Carl Junction on Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born on April 5, 1937 in Galena, Kansas to Roy Starks and Edith (Gilbert) Starks.
Janette was a cook at the Ozark Center and St. Luke's Nursing Center for many years, but she loved being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Webb City.
Janette married Max McReynolds on June 2, 1956 in Carl Junction and he preceded her in death on July 6, 2014. She is survived by her sons, Jerry McReynolds and wife Cheryl of Columbus, KS, Keith McReynolds and wife Judie of Wichita, KS, Larry McReynolds and wife Brandi of Carl Junction, Max McReynolds and wife Samantha of Carl Junction; daughters, Carol Knox of Noel, MO, Rhonda Shofler and husband Wayne of Webb City; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City with Pastor Mike Geisert officiating. The family will be present for visitation on Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in Oronogo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the First Christian Church of Webb City in her memory.
