Michael R. Cole, 66, Neosho, entered into rest on April 18, 2018 at his home in Neosho, following a sudden illness.
Mike was born Aug. 27, 1951 in Neosho and was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Neosho High School. He worked as a firefighter for the City of Neosho and after retirement from the Fire Department, he worked for the Neosho Public School in maintenance. Mike was a member of the Neosho United Methodist Church.
Michael married Karen Patrick Wylie and she preceded him in death on Feb. 22, 2008. He is survived by one brother, Lewis Cole and wife, Mary Lea of Neosho; two nieces, Lisa Cole of Neosho and Kara Beth Lowry of Joplin; great nieces and nephews, Mollee, Adam, Cole, Collin and Claire and great great nieces and nephews, Trenton, Hadyn, Trace and Liam. In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Jeff Cole.
Memorial services will be Monday, April 23, 2018 at 1 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Pastor Mitch Jarvis will officiate.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mike be made to the Neosho United Methodist Church, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
