Pamela Ruth Krtek, 64, passed away April 27, 2018 at her home in Miller, MO. Pamela was born June 7, 1953 in Parsons, KS to Warren James Parnell and Charal Bogardus Parnell Matthews. Pamela worked as a receptionist for a local doctor’s office in Carthage.
Pamela was united in marriage to Richard A. Krtek on November 4, 1978 in Carthage’s Central Park; he survives.
Pamela is also survived by two sons, Kurtis Krtek and wife Amy of Webb City, Rio Krtek and wife Katrina of Roanoke, TX; two brothers, Mark Parnell and wife Lisa of Joplin, Jason Matthews and wife Becca of Hockley, TX; one sister, Jennifer Shouse and husband Kevin of Neosho, MO; seven grandchildren, Eva Krtek, Abram Krtek, Jeffrey Khalek, Damin Krtek, Annabelle Khalek, Andrew Prince and Lenna Krtek; and mother-in-law, Eva J. Krtek.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, William and Jean Parnell and Charles and Ruth Bogardus Noel.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Carthage. Burial will be at Gray’s Point Cemetery in Miller, MO.
