Glenda Kay Willcut, 69 years, of Noel, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.
Glenda was born on April 1, 1949 in Geneseo, Illinois to the late Owen and Blanche (Sturm) Lowery. She married Larry Willcut March 15, 1989 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Glenda worked at the Wal-Mart Home Office in Bentonville, Arkansas for 22 years. She was a great cook and will be well remembered for taking care of others instead of herself. Glenda lovingly cherished her dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 23 years, Larry Willcut; sister, Gelda Conner; two brothers, John DeMerit and Bobby Richey.
Glenda is survived by her two sons, Dion Bond of Clinton, Missouri, Damon Bond and wife, Denice of Raymore, Missouri; two stepsons, Brian Willcut of Missouri, Harold Willcut of Florida; two brothers, Gene Purdy and his wife, Debbie of Bentonville, Arkansas, Ed Purdy of Noel, Missouri; six grandchildren, Emily, Seth, Justin, Mikayla, Winter and Jazmyne; along with a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Glenda.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Pastor Marilyn O'Brien will officiate.
