Nichole Marie Barker, age 42, of Mt. Vernon, Missouri, passed away at 1:55 a.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2018. She was born February 13, 1976, in Burlington, Wisconsin, the daughter of Marvin and Shirley (Rossmiller) Sullivan.
Nichole was a 1994 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri. She was employed in the human resources department for Schreiber Foods, in Carthage, Missouri.
On June 5, 2004, she married Kurt Barker, in Mt. Vernon.
Nichole is survived by her husband of 13 years, Kurt; two daughters, Chelsea Snyder and Sophia Barker both of Mt. Vernon; stepson, Corey Phillips and his wife, Shaye, and their daughter, Haven, of Mt. Vernon; parents, Marvin and Shirley Sullivan, of Mt. Vernon; brother, Brandon Sullivan of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Crystal Richardson and her husband, Robbie, of Hoberg, Missouri and Lacey Lutz and her husband, Corey, of Mt. Vernon; father and mother-in-law, Keith and Kay Barker, of Mt. Vernon; brother-in-law, Brandon Barker and his wife, Jene, of Mt. Vernon; sister-in-law, Kim Epps and her husband, Tom, of Miller, Missouri and several nieces and nephew.
Her brother, Brian Sullivan, preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon. Online condolences may be shared at www.FossettMosherFuneralHome.com.
