Clifton Yoder

Clifton Yoder, age 75, of Fairview, Missouri passed away Monday, December 12, 2022 at Cox Monett Hospital in Monett, Missouri.

He was born September 17, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia the son of Denver and Emma (Peachey) Yoder. 

On December 19, 1968 in Plain City, Ohio he was united in marriage to Rosa Kurtz, who survives. 








Also surviving are three sons, Paul Yoder and his wife Ann of Hutchinson, Kansas, Loren Yoder and his wife Kim of Harrison, Arkansas and Simon Yoder and his wife Marilyn of La Monte, Missouri; five daughters, Joanna Yoder and her husband Jonas of Winchester, Tennessee, Pricilla Yoder and her husband Jason of Fairview, Missouri, Radiance Yoder of Harrison, Arkansas, Esperanza Lucarelli and her husband Nicholas of Greenville, South Carolina and Bethany Yoder of Sarasota, Florida.

Also, five brothers, Millard Yoder and his wife Mary of Paint Lick, Kentucky, Donald Yoder and his wife Mary of Costa Rica, Homer Yoder and his wife Marla of Sparta, Tennessee, Denver Yoder, Jr. and his wife Betty of Mt. Perry, Ohio and Calvin Yoder and his wife Judith of Soldotna, Alaska; four sisters, Ellen Kropf and her husband Richard of Liberty, Kentucky, Sharon Yoder of Fredericktown, Ohio, Loretta Yoder of Fredericktown, Ohio and Hannah Yoder and her husband Leonard of Fredericktown, Ohio; twenty-five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.








Clifton owned and operated a dairy farm and also drove a truck. He enjoyed woodworking and landscaping in his spare time. Spending time with family, especially his grandchildren was very important to Clifton.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 16, 2022 at Fairview Mennonite Church in Fairview. Burial will be at Fairview Christian Fellowship Cemetery in Fairview, Missouri.

Arrangements are under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
