(From Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home)Marceline Rinehart, 100, Seneca, MO, passed into eternal rest at 8:15 am, December 13, 2022 at the Seneca House Nursing Home.
Marceline Lankford was born March 11, 1922 in Seneca, MO the daughter of Roscoe and Esther (Sherer) Lankford. She was a lifelong Seneca area resident.
Marceline started her schooling at the Hickory Grove County School south of Seneca and graduated from Seneca High School. While growing up she loved 4H and singing.
After High School she worked a short time as a Cosmologist. She married Vernon Rinehart December 22, 1940 in Carthage, MO. At that time she become a homemaker and a dairy farmer. Marceline enjoyed raising baby calves, beautiful gardens and helping any way she could on the family dairy farm. She worked side by side with her husband for over 76 years. She loved cooking for anyone and was a very good cook. She loved to crochet and was very good at it. Marceline will be remembered for many things including her love of collecting everything Coca Cola. What a collection she acquired. She will be remembered by the family for being the best wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. Marceline's smile was contagious to anyone who met her. Marceline was a member of the Hottel Springs Church of Christ.
Marceline was preceded in death by her parents Roscoe and Esther Lankford; her husband Vernon Rinehart; siblings, Avis Cook, Betty McKenzie and Leon Lankford; sons-in-laws, Everett Johnston and Jim Ducan.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Duncan, Kansas City, MO and Connie Johnston, Welch, OK; one son, Leon Rinehart and wife Geni, Seneca, MO; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10 am to 11 am, Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Hottel Springs Church of Christ. Funeral services will begin at 11 am with Bob Hampton officiating. Burial will be in the Swars Prairie Baptist Cemetery with grandsons and great-grandsons serving as pallbearers.
