Helen Malven

Helen Armecia (Lee) Malven, 86, of Nixa, Missouri went to everlasting lasting rest on January 29, 2023 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family.

Helen entered this life on August 5, 1936 to the union of Albert Harvey Lee, Sr. and Gladys Faye (White) Lee, in Bath North Carolina. 

She married Robert William Malven on May 15, 1954, and to this union was born two sons and one daughter. Helen acquired her teaching degree as her three children attended school. 








She taught at Sarcoxie Elementary School for a total of forty-three years, teaching and then assisting. Helen was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1962, where she taught Sunday school and engaged in other church activities throughout the years.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of forty-eight years, Robert “Hammer” Malven, her son, Ronald “Ronnie” William Malven; and her siblings.

She is survived by two children, Robert Brian Malven and wife, Norma, of San Antonio, Texas and Julie Duston and husband, Randy, of the family home in Nixa, Missouri; Ronnie’s widow, Mary Malven of Sarcoxie, Missouri; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as a multitude of loved ones and friends.








Graveside services for Helen are 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Sarcoxie Cemetery will Pastor Wil Meyer officiating. 

Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Joshua Redfield, Annie Pettit, Marcus Redfield, Billy Malven, Danny Malven and Elizabeth Malven. Honorary pallbearers are Gina Alaniz, Nicholas Malven and Nathan Malven. 

Memorial contributions may be directed to a favorite charity in care of the funeral home. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
