Arvin “Termite” Frank, age 80, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away in his home on Thursday, July 14, 2016. Mr. Frank, son of Quinton and Sue (Smith) Frank, was born on February 19, 1936, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. On May 16, 1959, he was united in marriage to Ruth Oxford in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Mr. Frank, respectively known as “Termite,” owned and operated “AAA” Arvin’s Termite Control in Seligman, as well as Arvin’s Custom Butchering. He enjoyed the outdoors such as fishing, deer hunting and searching for morels, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Cassville. Mr. Frank was a friend to many and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-seven years, Ruth Frank, of Seligman; four daughters, Sheila Bradshaw and her husband Fred, of Forum, Arkansas, Leisa Hackett and her husband John, Tawnya Gundel and her husband Larry, and Melanie Gundel and her husband Dennis, all of McDonald County; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Rogers, and one son-in-law, Kenneth McCool.
