Roberta Biss, age 59 of Neosho, Missouri passed away Monday July 4, 2016 following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 12, 1956 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Bill and Betty (Henry) McGee.
Roberta worked for Smith Foods, La-Z-Boy, and Sunbeam in the food service department. She loved to grow plants and flowers despite her not-so-green thumb. She was a proud supporter of Toys for Tots and would work on making blankets and buying toys year round.
She married Walter Biss on December 26, 1982 in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Roberta is survived by her husband, three daughters, Betty Ellis and husband Donnie, Reeds, Missouri; Sherry Whiteman and husband Phillip, Neosho, Missouri; Brandi Hunter and husband Dale, Joplin, Missouri; 10 grandchildren, Mercedese Cutbirth, Robbie Jenkins, Cade Jenkins, Coda Lumpkins, Hailey Ellis, Blade Ellis, Baron Ellis, Dayton Hunter, Brookelyn Cooper, Jacob Cooper; one sister, Vesta Anderson and husband Jay, Moore, Oklahoma; and a son in law, Shawn Cooper.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Samantha Cooper.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family requests any contributions be made to Toys for Tots and they may sent in care of the mortuary.
