Mildred L. Werle, age 90, of Joplin, passed away on Monday July 18, 2016 at Freeman Hospital, following an illness.
Mildred was born on January 12, 1926, the daughter of the late John R. and Julia Ann (Porter) Denton. She married Marvin Winston Werle on December 26, 1943 in Morganfield, Ky. Together they raised eight children.
She was a devoted wife and mother. She was a member of New Grace Assembly. She is survived by five daughters, Chrystie McCormick, Joplin, Susan Brashears and husband Jerry, Oronogo, Mo., Pam Willoughby and husband Ron, Joplin, Patricia Pugh and husband Michael, and Janice Brown and husband Scott; three sons, Rodney Werle, Gerry Werle and Terry Werle, all of Joplin; eighteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and a niece Zita Lamb of New Hampshire. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Werle on October 5, 1991, and several brothers and sisters.
