Imogene Tappana

Imogene Tappana, age 81, of Webb City, Missouri passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 following a decline in health.

She was born in Webb City, Missouri to John and Dorothy (Miller) Davis.

Imogene was a housewife, school room mother, an election worker and loved flowers and baking cookies. The most important thing she did was raise and love her family.

She married Leslie Tappana on April 23, 1954 and he survives. She is also survived by four children, Lissa Jackson and husband, John, Leslie Allen and mate, Troy Eichelberger, Neil Tappana and wife, Kim and Paul Tappana and wife, Tammy; seven grandchildren, Sarah Jackson, Brooke Briggs, Rickie Allen, Elizabeth, Emily, Aaron and Allison Tappana; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Jerry Davis, and one sister, Carolyn Edwards.

Imogene was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ruth Purcell and Bonnie Allan.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Webb City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Those gentelmen honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Paul Tappana, Aaron Tappana, John Jackson, Keith Briggs, Troy Eichelberger and Roy Masters.
