Wayne Green

Wayne Green, age 61, of Stotts City, MO, passed from this life on Friday July 1, 2016 in his residence after a extended decline in health. Wayne was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was born on July 3, 1954 in Advance, MO, the son of Elmer Eugene Green and Gertrude (McCully) Cruz. Wayne was married to Vicky Capps on August 26, 1972 in Ardeola, MO and she survives. .

Wayne is survived by two sons, Joshua Green, and wife Angel, of Stotts City, MO and Kenneth Green, and wife Jasa of Springfield, MO; three daughters, Michelle Schatte and husband Steve, of Stotts City, MO, Megan Green of Monett, MO and Sabrina Green of Joplin, MO; his mother Gertrude Cruz, of Jackson, MO; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one half-brother, Eddie Cruz of Jackson, MO; one sister, Wanda Pounds, of Jackson, MO; one half-sister, Linda Jo of WI; two step-sisters, Edna Sheible, of Bloomfield, MO and Jenny Jennings, of Bell City, MO

He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Jimmy Green; two brothers, Jimmie Green and Henry Green; one step-brother, Larry Sides; one half-brother, Danny Cruz.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Buchanan Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Real officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, southeast of Monett.
