Betty Louise Hoffecker, 86, Neosho, died July 11, 2016 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
Betty was born December 15, 1929 in Neosho, the daughter of Robert and Ruby (Litton) Laird. She was a lifelong area resident and had worked as a department manager at Wal-Mart. She enjoyed oil painting and scrapbooking and building model Victorian homes.
Betty married Paul Joseph Hoffecker on May 29, 1947 in Columbus, Kansas and he preceded her in death. Betty is survived by a daughter, Anna Mae Gregory and husband, Jerald of Neosho; three grandchildren, Nicole Pippin, Bryttanii Bowers and Heather Chorn and great grandchildren, Aaric Pippin, Anna Pippin, Kylie Pippin, Lindsey Pippin, Hayden Harrington, Jacklyn Field and Jillian Bowers. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Doris Wallace.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
