Lewis Cargile, 79, of Anderson, Missouri passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Freeman Neosho Hospital in Neosho, Missouri.
He was born on January 17, 1937 in Washburn, Missouri born to the late, Early and Wilma (Solely) Cargile. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Homer Cargile, Frank Cargile and Ronald Cargile; two sisters, Lily Hayworth and Rosie White.
Lewis is survived by his three brothers, Edward Cargile, Donald Cargile, and Lonnie Cargile; two sisters, Wanda Gilstrap and Mary Pierce; ten children, Sandra Cargile, Lisa Beaumont, Stephen Cargile, Tim Cargile, Randy Cargile, John Cargile, Paul Cargile, Jerry Cargile, Glenn Cargile and Teresa Weeks; 15 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Lewis.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, August 1, 2016 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends at this time. Cremation will follow the visitation.
