rom Derfelt Funeral Home) Eddie Lynn Webber, age 73 of Carl Junction, MO, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Mercy Hospital of Joplin.
Eddie was born in Baxter Springs, KS on December 18, 1949 to the union of Arthur and Mildred (Bunch) Webber. He attended school in Galena, KS, and later served his country for 2 years in the US Army. He worked as a handyman and general contractor for many years before his retirement.
He was united in marriage with Sandra Louise (Satterfield) Webber on March 27, 1971 in Joplin, MO. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one son; Skip Webber (wife, Alizabeth) of Diamond, MO; one daughter, Tammy Webber of Altus, OK; two grandchildren, Madeline Webber (husband, Jacob Harry) of Carthage, MO, and Isabell Webber of Joplin, MO; three great-grandchildren, Denver and Kyren Harry, and Miles Webber; three sisters, Erlene Watkins of Lowell, KS, Wilma McBee (husband, Tom) of New Mexico, Carol Ann Redden of Miami, OK, as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Mildred Webber; brothers, three brothers, Lucky Webber, Sonny Webber, Lonnie Webber; two sisters, Dolly Bullard and Molly Brinkley.
Mr. Webber has been entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home of Galena for cremation. The family will host a celebration of life at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Christpoint Church in Galena, KS.
