Paul Barton Montgomery, born November 8, 1957, passed February 4th, 2023 at the age of 65.
First years of life, he lived in in Oklahoma City and in 1972 moved to Lawton, Oklahoma, graduating from Lawton High School in May 1976.
He attended Ozark Bible College two years in ministry and youth counseling.
Martial Arts became his passion and he earned his black belts to become Senior Master Instructor. He opened his studio in Walters, Oklahoma and later moved to Joplin, Missouri. He touched a lot of lives in his ministry.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Debby, of the home; his mother, Mary Bell of Carl Junction; and a stepdaughter, her husband, and daughter of Joplin.
Graveside Services with Parker Mortuary of Joplin are on Thursday, February 9th at the Carl Junction Cemetery at 12:00 noon, with Pastor Roger Noland from Walters, Oklahoma officiating.
