Kerin Woods

Kerin Michelle Woods, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on December 10, 2023, in Webb City, Missouri, at the age of 56. She was born on November 26, 1967, in Turlock, California, to Kenneth Whitney and Peggy (Drossel) Whitney.

Kerin found joy in crafting, especially in the creation of dreamcatchers. Cooking was another of her passions, and she delighted in preparing meals that would bring her family together around the table. 

Above all, her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with Kaden, Serenity, Kyson, Lily, Gracie, Padon, Neveah, Ammon, Sofia, Alana, Gavin, and Josephine.

Survivors include her children, Leslie Whitney, Richard Woods, Carissa Woods, Destiny Woods, and Harley Woods; siblings, William Flemming, Keri Whitney, Randy Watkins, and Tim Whitney, who will miss her deeply.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Aminda Stanley, and her siblings, Chip Flemming and Vicky Mayberry.

 

Kerin’s story does not end here, for she lives on in the cherished memories we carry with us and in the love that will never fade.
