Linda Esposito

Linda A. Esposito, of South Greenfield, MO, departed this life surrounded by her family on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO at the age of 74.

She was born on December 29, 1948 in Rochester, NY to Gordon and Violet (Kannenburg) Hepworth. Linda was united in marriage to John Alfred Esposito on February 14, 1972 in Marion, NY. She worked as technician for Cooper Vision Eye Care. Linda loved all animals. Her family was very important to her. Linda enjoyed family get togethers with her children and grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Gordon and Violet Hepworth; two siblings, Gordon and Kathleen Hepworth; and one niece, Tracy Hepworth.

Survivors include her husband, John Esposito; three children, Jennifer Cannon and husband Shane, Chris Esposito and wife Cory, and Jamie Dardenne and husband Bob; son-in-law, William White; eleven grandchildren, Staci Hurt, Dylan White, A.J. Ackley, Nick Esposito, Alyxandria Esposito, Jerrett Esposito, Anna Esposito, Bobby Dardenne, James Dardenne, Lane Dardenne, and Grace Dardenne; eight great-grandchildren, Aden Smith, Amarah Smith, Kalab Smith, Brynlee Gold, Paislee Dardenne, Ruby Esposito, Asa White, and Odin Bench; five nieces and nephews, Gordon Hepworth, Daniel Hepworth, Elizabeth Carpenter, Becky Astifan, and Laura Guthrie.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family ask for memorials to be made to a No-kill animal shelter of the donor’s choice. Cremation services are under the care of Greenfield Funeral Chapel.
