Our darling Sharon Watkins tragically left us on December 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She loved teaching, going to church, and she always brought a smile to everyone’s face. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Sharon leaves behind a loving husband, Warren Watkins Sr. of 60 wonderful years.
Other survivors include her four children, Jamie Fisher of Carthage, Missouri, Shelly Davis of Denver, Colorado, Tina Richards of Sarcoxie, Missouri, and Micheal Watkins of Carthage, Missouri; eight loving grandchildren, Jessica Shonk, Ryan Nuse, Josh Davis, Angela Bussard, Danielle Kaup, Sarah Maricic, Chris Davis, and Kandace Richards; six great-grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Luke Shonk, Brian Smith, Alyssa Davis, Avery Shonk, and Thomas Davis; two sisters, Dalene Danyluck and Sue McCoy; and one brother, Gary Fisher. We will all miss her very much.
She is preceded in death by her mother and two brothers.
A funeral service for Sharon will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, Missouri. A visitation will be held the previous evening from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Ulmer Funeral Home. The burial will take place at Park Cemetery in Carthage, immediately following the service.
