Linda J. Rush, 69, passed away April 3, 2018 at her home in Carthage. Linda was born September 11, 1948 in Carthage to Paul C. and Yvonne “Sanders” Lee. She was a lifetime resident of Carthage and worked at Wal-Mart in the fabric department for over 30 years with her Wal-Mart Family.
Linda was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Praying Hands – Order of the Amaranth Court and Order of the Eastern Star. She loved sewing, quilting and crossword puzzles.
Linda was united in marriage to Thomas Rush on February 9, 1965 in Carthage; he preceded her in death September 5, 2017.
Linda is survived by one son, Dusty Rush of Neosho; two daughters, Ronda Freelend (Allen) of Carthage and Lynnette Watson (Alan) of Lamar; one brother, Randy Lee (Carol) of Carthage; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Linda was preceded in death by two sisters, Carla Lee and Pamela Lassiter.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carthage.
