Alicia Jennings-Corner of Carl Junction, Mo. passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the age of 53, following a sudden illness.
She was born July 31, 1964 in Okolona, Ms. to Thomas and Alice Jennings. Alicia had lived in Carl Junction the past twelve years moving here from Pittsburg, Ks. She married Scott Corner on June 26, 1999 in Wichita, Ks. They were married eighteen years at the time of her death.
She worked for Names and Numbers for Ten years and the last three years for Four State International Trucks as a web technician. Alicia was a member of the Mount Hope Church of Christ, Webb City, Mo. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Jennings and daughter, Eva Grace. Survivors include her husband Scott; a son, Brent Corner of the home, her mother Alice Jennings of Carl Junction, Mo., a brother, Thomas Jennings Jr.(Rhonda) of Magee, Ms.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Victor Knowles will officiate. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 6 – 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Carl Junction Cemetery.
