Matthew Keith Putnam, age 43, Joplin, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 in Joplin.

Matt was born July 6, 1974 in Joplin, son of Steven W. Putnam of Joplin, and the late Patricia Ann Taylor Putnam. He grew up in the Joplin area, attending Joplin and Seneca Schools. He was an active member of Impact Life Church of Joplin. He worked in construction most of his adult life.

Survivors include his father, Steve Putnam of Joplin; grandmother, Erma L. Greer Putnam of Joplin, brothers, Nick Putnam ( MeLi Sanborn) of Webb City, Steve Putnam, Jr. of Joplin; sisters, Christy Willey of Pittsburg, Kansas, Kristy Provins of Joplin; nieces and nephews, Gabe Putnam, Kailee Putnam, Steven Putnam III, Mariah Putnam, John Marando, and Mike Marando; great-nephew, Riker Putnam.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Impact Life Church, 2231 Annie Baxter of Joplin with his good friend, Jeremy Kitchingham, officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
