Theodore Lynn Parsons, age 52, Webb City, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital after a sudden illness.
Lynn was born September 15, 1965 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Ted and Neva Smith Parsons. He had lived throughout the four state area all of his life.
He attended NEO and graduated from Pittsburg State University. Always a hard worker, Lynn managed and worked in the paint industry for many years.
Everyone that knew Lynn knew of his love for the outdoors. He enjoyed walking in the woods; hunting, boating and even considered himself a 'semi-pro' fisherman. Lynn had a deep love for God and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include a daughter, Olivia Parsons, of the home; a son, Luke Parsons, of the home; his parents, Ted and Neva Parsons, Weir, Kansas; brother, Randy Parsons and wife, Debbie, Oswego, Kansas; two sisters, Cheryl Layne and husband, Mark, Webb City, Toni Parsons, Oronogo; nieces and nephews, Talia and Josh Stovall, Lexington, South Carolina, Anna and Shawn Brock, Joplin, Adam and Karen Layne, Joplin, Josh Belcher, Webb City, Ryan Belcher and Whitney Bailey, Overland Park, Kansas, Trisha Nell Belcher, Webb City; and great nieces and nephews, Jameson, Buddy, Adalyn, Allyson, Laynie, Brady and Cal.
Memorial services are planned for Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church. Pastor Bob Howard will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Olivia and Luke Parsons Educational Fund, in care of Parker Mortuary.
