Bobby Joe McCully, 66, Carl Junction, died July 4, 2014 of an unexpected illness. Bobby was born November 3, 1946 to Frank and Jane (Kenney) McCully in Stella, Missouri. He was a lifelong resident of Southwest Missouri. He served in the U. S. Army as a heavy equipment operator in Vietnam during the war. Bobby was an over-the-road truck driver for the last 41 years. He was a member of Harmony Heights Baptist Church in Joplin, MO. He married Linda Brock McCully on September 2, 1995. She survives.
Bobby is also survived by his mother, Jane McCully, Seneca, MO. One son, Howard Joe McCully, Wyandotte, OK; two daughters, Bobbie Lynn McCully-Slaughter, Branson, MO, Annette Puryear and husband Bill, Wyandotte, OK. Two brothers, Frank & Karen McCully, Granby, MO and Jerry & Linda McCully, Neosho, MO. Two sisters: Barbara and husband Don Digesualdo, Elgin, South Carolina, and Carolyn Reed, Neosho, MO. Bobby is also survived by five grandchildren: Melissa Ann McCully, Jane, MO, Samual Franklin Tackett, Wyandotte, OK, Jasmine Lynn Tackett, Joplin, MO, Rebecca Clark, Jasper, MO and Rachael Beasley, Springfield, MO. Two great-grandchildren: Stormi Nykole-Lynn McCully, Wyandotte, OK, Joshua Allen Clark, Jasper, MO
