Clifford R. Heady, 64 passed away July 10, 2014 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin.
Clifford was born July 22, 1949 in Hays, Kansas. Clifford was a longtime Carthage resident and owned and operated Heady’s Mill-Wright construction company for several years. He was a member of the Scotland Church of God and donated to the Carthage police/fireman annual Christmas party.
Clifford was united in marriage to Imee Heady April 27, 2007 at the Scotland Church she survives. Clifford is survived by his mother Dorothy Heady/Cameron Reeves of Carthage, MO, three daughters Karen (Jerry) Peoples of Altamont, KS, Christina (Derek) Cawthra of Parson, KS, Krysnah Heady of the home, three sons Clete (Ann) Heady of Parsons, KS, Craig (Heather) Heady of Joplin, MO and Levi Heady of Carthage, two sisters Brenda Manley of Joplin, MO and Jean Nash of Altamont, KS. two brothers Leon Heady and Robert Heady both of Parsons, KS, eleven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Clifford is preceded by his dad Harold Heady and sister Diana Hill January 29, 2011.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday July 16, 2014 at the Scotland Church of God. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00p.m.Tuesday July 15, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Erie Kansas. Contributions can be made to the Carthage police/fire annual Christmas party in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
