Mary White

(From Parker Mortuary)

Mary Lorraine White, 59, of Joplin, Mo, completed her journey up the stairway to heaven on July 16, 2014.
Mary was born to the late Delbert W. Russell Sr. and Margaret A. Russell of Joplin, Mo on April 7, 1955 in Hawthorne, NV.

She attended school at FoHi in Fontana, Ca. Soon after high school and becoming a mother she separated from her husband and became a single parent. While raising her three children Mary decided to further her education. She acquired an AA in Medical Billing with honors from NCMC in Trenton, Mo.

Shortly after graduating from college Mary selflessly opened her heart and home to her four small grandchildren, which she later adopted. Mary knew that keeping her grandchildren together was a must so she spent the next sixteen years ensuring this was done.

Throughout this time Mary was employed with Joplin Family Foot care for five years doing what she loved most which was knowing, loving, and helping people. Following this she became the Billing Specialist for her family company, A-Dependable Taxi, in Joplin. While there she truly was a candle to her family, employees, friends, and clients which brought smiles, laughter, love, and hope to many hearts. Above all, Mary was a full time parent who nurtured any and all she came in contact with.

Mary is survived by her mother Margret Russell, three siblings; Delbert Russell, Rose (Steve) Clark, and Anna (Jamie) Fiddelke, three children; Balynda White, Troy (Kelly) White, and Richard Reep Jr., nine grandchildren; Christopher, Hope, River, Mark, Sierah, Isaiah, Alieyah, Dayton, and Richard III, four great grandchildren; Zachariah, Harmony, Jensen and Serenity.

She is also survived by many more family, friends, and loved ones who will celebrate her time spent here with us. Waiting for Mary at the glorious Gates of Heaven are her father Delbert W. Russell Sr., daughter Amber Rose Reep, and sister in Christ, Vanessa Comer.

Mary truly was a child of God and a blessing to us all, as it쳌fs shown with every step and breath she took. We love you mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt. Thank you for being our Angel, Rest in Peace.
Memorial service will be held at Parker Mortuary on Saturday, July 26th at 12 pm. The family will receive friends following the services at the mortuary.
