Norma Jean Heisten, 84, of Carthage passed way on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Carthage Heath and Rehab.
She was born on April 24, 1930 in Jasper, Missouri to Emmett and Margaret Nett. Norma was a homemaker. She was a church organist for many years. Norma attended Grace Point Church of God, Carthage.
Norma married Frederick Heisten on June 1, 1950 in Carthage, Missouri. He survives. Other survivors include two sons Marvin Heisten and Calvin Heisten both of Carthage and one sister Arvada Ruther and husband Arnold of Witchita, Kansas. Norma was preceded by her parents, and one brother Charles Nett.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from Friday, July 25, 2014 at 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Park Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Grace Pointe Church of God care of Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
