Doc Carnagey, age 47 of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away Monday, July 22, 2014.
Doc was born February 15, 1967 in San Gabriel, California to Chuck and Jeanie Venavles Carnagey. He lived in the Pawhuska, OK and Independence, KS area but in the Joplin area for the last 15 years. Doc worked for Eagle Picher as a production supervisor. Doc enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, baseball and rock concerts.
Doc married Rhonda Garris on September 06, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include his father, Chuck Carnagey of Independence, KS; three daughters, Mistey Chambers of Joplin, Summer Carnagey of the home, Krystle Erbenich and husband Matt of Washington state; two sons, Erin Carnagey of Oronogo, Clint Young of Joplin; grandchildren, Cole, Hailey, Reese and Paizlee; brother, Charles Carnagey of Abilene, TX; two sisters, Tracie Carnagey of Cherryville, KS and Kimberly Carnagey-Lewis and husband Jesse of Independence, KS; nieces, nephews and extended family that will miss Doc.
Doc is preceded in death by his mother, Jeanie Carnagey.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Parker Chapel with inurnment of ashes to follow at the Carl Junction Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. up to service time. Memorial contributions can be made to N.A.M.I. in care of the mortuary.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
