(From Ozark Funeral Home)Mrs. Carol Kay Coe, 77, of Goodman, Missouri, departed this life on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, after a brief illness.
Carol entered this life on March 18, 1945, in Leedy, Oklahoma, daughter of the late Stanley and Lois Evelyn (Moss) Pridemore. She was raised in McDonald County Missouri, where she attended elementary and high school. She furthered her education at Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri, graduating with honors with an associate’s degree in education.
On December 30, 1961, in Casey, Iowa, she was united in marriage to Roger Coe and to this union five children were born. They resided in Iowa until moving to Goodman, Missouri, in 1970. She was employed by Talbot Wire in Neosho for thirteen years and served as Assistant Postmaster in Goodman. She dearly loved her family, reading, fishing, tending to her flowerbeds and Cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of fifty-nine years, Roger Coe on April 29, 2021; and two siblings, Betty Woodard and Lewis Pridemore.

Carol is survived by her five children, Georgene Austin and husband, David, of Neosho, Leroy Coe, Stanley Coe, Della Hobbs and husband, Mitchell, and Michael Coe all of Goodman; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; a brother, Dale Pridemore of Tiff City; two sisters, Opal Oberlechner of Asbury, Missouri and Rose Hines of Goodman; as well as host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday evening, October 7, 2022 from 4-7:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
