Margaret Gossett

Margaret Jane Gossett, age 81, of Ash Grove, Missouri, passed away at 5:06 a.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at her home. She was born July 26, 1942, in Miller, Missouri, the daughter of John and Ernestine (Hunter) Pendergrass.

Margaret was a 1960 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed square dancing and hunting mushrooms.

On May 29, 1961, she married Gary L. Gossett, in Ash Grove, Missouri.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gary; two sons, Gary W. Gossett and his wife, Debbie, of Ash Grove, Missouri and Shannon Gossett and his wife, Gerry, of Greenfield, Missouri; two sisters, Patty Cornell and her husband, Norris, of Stotts City, Missouri and Connie Brown of Everton, Missouri; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Margaret was preceded by her parents, John, and Ernestine, one great-grandson and one brother-in-law, Dan Brown.
