Marvin Coy

Marvin Joe Coy, Jr., a retired over the road trucker and jack of all trades, passed Saturday December 9, 2023 surrounded by family at his home in Joplin, MO. Marvin was born April 12, 1956 in Joplin, MO. 

Marvin is preceded in death by his parents Mary Rowden and Marvin Coy Sr.; brother Steve Shockley; sisters Hazel and Leona Shockley; and great-niece Kirsten Robbins. 

Marvin is survived by his wife Kathy Coy; sons Chris Coy and Clinton Coy; daughters Carmen Coy and Jessica Sanchez; brother Joe Shockley; sisters Mary Riggs and Christine Fraughton; grandchildren Chase Coy, Allison Evans, Savannah Coy, Sofia Maturino, Moises Maturino, and Isella Sanchez; great-grandchildren Harlow Stith and baby boy Stith due next year; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
