(From Daniel Funeral Home)
Marlene Lucille Trudell, age 66, of Lamar, peacefully passed away at her home, early Wednesday morning, January 4, 2017, with her husband, Terry, at her side.
Marlene was born March 13, 1950, at Florence, Arizona, to James and Ila (Province) McBath. While living in Port Orchard, Washington, she met her Navy Seaman, Terrance Trudell, and they married October 15, 1971. Marlene and Terry had made their home in Washington, Arizona and Missouri, moving to Lamar three years ago.
In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker, Marlene had worked as a hab-tech in a group home while living in Arizona. She was a talented seamstress and chronicled great memories through her creative scrapbooking. Marlene was an animal-lover and had spoiled several dogs through the years.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Trudell; a daughter, Jolene (Trudell) DuLong; and her brother, James Earl McBath.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Terry; a son, Frank (Luella) Trudell of Golden City, Missouri; and six grandchildren, Michael Trudell, Terry Trudell, Crystal Trudell, Chad Trudell, Larissa DuLong, and Desiree Dulong.
Honoring Marlene’s wishes, her body has been cremated and a private committal service will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Trudell family, in care of Daniel Funeral Home.
