Cris Crissman

Cris Crissman entered this life on August 28, 1947, in Webb City, Missouri, son of the late Kenneth and Betty (Huey) Crissman.

After graduating from Webb City High School in 1965, he enlisted into the Navy where he served as a Radarman. After the Navy he began a career with the Federal Aviation Administration in various roles within Flight Services, Air Traffic Control, and becoming a private pilot. He graduated from Missouri Southern State College in 1983 and started a career in the trucking industry. He held various roles in distribution and logistics until his retirement in 2017.








He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Powell on January 24, 1970 at Frisco Church in Webb City, Missouri. Together, they raised their son, Sean Crissman. Cris’s favorite hobby was family and friends, especially his grandson Ryan. He loved working outside and keeping close tabs on Sean and Ryan ready to lend a hand at any minute. Cris was a joy to be around and made Mary Ann laugh every day. He loved to joke and banter, he had a funny comment for every situation. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Crissman; son, Sean Crissman; grandson, Ryan Crissman; sister, Kenna Philliber (Wayne); and several extended family members. In addition to his parents, Cris was preceded in death by his brother, Don Crissman.








The family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Webb City Church of the Nazarene.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made out to the Webb City Church of the Nazarene.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home.
