(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Judith Ann Montgomery was born on August 2nd, 1942, to Paul and Laveta Higginbotham of Seneca MO. Judith lived in Seneca most of her life and was a 1960 Seneca High school graduate.
Judith was a devoted Christian and a member of the Seneca Christian Church.
Judith married James B Knight October 21st, 1960, from this union they had 3 Daughters, Donna Weaver of Neosho MO, Karen Puckett of Goodman MO, and Vicki Lankford of Seneca MO.
Judith also had 7 Grandchildren, Joey Puckett of Arkansas, Justin Puckett of Anderson MO, Cody Dirteater of Neosho MO, Casey Puckett of Arkansas, Kadie Tomlin of Goodman MO, Callie Tanner of Neosho MO, Chanoah Rouse of Neosho MO. Judith also had 17 Great-grandchildren all of whom she was very proud of.
She loved being with her family. She also enjoyed being outdoors, riding horses, planting her flowers, shooting guns with her grandsons, and doing whatever she could to help everyone.
She married Micheal Montgomery in 1993, and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was a sister Paulette and half-sister Joycelyn along with her Parents.
Judith worked at Dairy Queen while attending school, she also worked at Teledyne and Sears in Neosho MO. She was the Seneca city clerk and court clerk for years. She worked at the Newton County Jail and retired from the Newton County Ambulance District in 2004 after being disabled from a car accident.
Judith went to be with our Lord on October 8th, 2022, at home surrounded by her Family. She was a wonderful Mom, Grandma, and friend. She will be missed beyond measure.
