(From Clark Funeral Home)Lola J. Lane was born October 27, 1935 in Fair Grove, Missouri, one of three children to Paul and Opal (Snyder) Hodges. She entered into rest on September 30, 2022 in Neosho, Missouri at the age of 86.
Lola was a licensed cosmetologist and co-owned Ray’s Beauty Shop in Joplin, Missouri, retiring in 2013 after 56 years. She attended every annual Navy Reunion and had been active in Neosho Area Widow to Widow and enjoyed sewing, cooking and quilting.
Lola and Ray Edward Lane were married on October 27, 1958 in Neosho and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2007.
Lola is survived by four children, Mark (Lesa) Lane, Joplin, Missouri, Jeanna Blauert of Neosho, Missouri, Richard Lane of Neosho, Missouri and Kelly (Jerry) Johnson, Joplin, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jeff (Klaire) Blauert, Lindsay (Jason LeBlanc) Theisen, Richard (Ashley) Lane, Jr., Jessica (Jeremy) Gaa and Nicholas (Ashley Abbs) Lane; step grandchildren, Tony (Hailey) Goddard, Casey Kelley, Katie (Matt) Jefferies and Annie (Travis)Duff; great grandchildren, Courtney, Carley, Calley and Connelly Lane; Ethan, Hudson and Isa Gaa; Stone and Story Theisen and William Duff. One brother, William (Greg) Hodges also survives.
In addition to her husband, Lola is preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Lane and brother, Garry Hodges.
