Neil R. Jordon, 66, Carthage, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, MO. Neil Russell Jordon was born May 15, 1950 in Pasadena, CA to the late Virgil A. Jordon and Loraine (Petersen) Jordon. He graduated from Cavena High School, class of 1968. Neil worked for Tip Top Label in California, and the Big Red Barn RV and Salvation Army store in Carthage. He was a member of the Fairview Christian Church, Carthage.
Survivors include one sister, Carolyn Schow (husband Joe), Apple Valley, CA; a niece and nephew, and longtime caregiver, Lola Bove.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Theodore Jordon.
A Memorial service will take place 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Fairview Christian Church, Carthage. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Knell Mortuary, Carthage.
