Zethel Gorman

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Zethel Faye Gorman, Neosho, was given her wings on January 2, 2017 at the young age of 78.

She was born February 13, 1938 to Walter and Elizabeth Ruddick in Santa Maria, California. Zethel was a mother of six children and was a stay at home mother and housewife until the youngest child started school. She then started working outside of the home and drove for OATS Transportation for 25 years and loved her riders. She found so much peace when she was cooking and working in her flower gardens listening to the birds. She had a love for music like no other. Zethel and her husband of 60 years, Loren, would travel to local bluegrass, gospel and good old country music festivals. She always said “When they take away my music that is when I will be ready to leave this world.” Momma where you are now there is the most beautiful music of all and you have been given a brand new mind and body.

Zethel married Loren Gorman on December 16, 1956 and he survives. She is also survived by four daughters, Lana Austin and husband, Perry of Neosho, Betty Barlett of Oronogo, Cena Bass and husband, Terry of Diamond and Ramona Lehar and husband, Mike of Granby; one son, Anthony Gorman and wife, Sheryl of Diamond; nine grandchildren, Ty Austin, Jazzmine Stockam, Aara Graham, Matt Lehar, Kris Lehar, Hailey Bass, Austin Bass, Amber Korn and Serena Colgin and fourteen great grandchildren, Jaxon, Cason, Nolan, Roper, Will, Whyatt, Westen, Levi, Lilly, Gabby, Jaycob, Jayden, Haleigh and Heideigh.
