Beverly "Bev" Jean Sweezy, 75, of Carthage passed away Friday March 18, 2016 at Freeman hospital. She was born January 9, 1941 in Nashville, Arkansas, the daughter of Fred C. Feather and Charolette “Hicks” Feather . Bev was a lifetime resident of Carthage. She graduated with the class of 1959 from Carthage High School. Bev worked for State Farm Insurance for 36 years. She was a member of Fairview Christian Church in Carthage. Bev is survived by two daughters; Andrea Sneed of Carthage and Audra Hitchborn of Fort Worth, Texas. Six grandchildren Madison Hitchborn, Morgan Sneed, Avery Sneed, Eli Sneed, Sofia Hitchborn and honorary Grandparent to Justin Sneed. Bev is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews and many loving and devoted friends.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday March 22, 2016 at Fairview Christian Church in Carthage. Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Monday March 21, 2016 at Fairview Christian Church. Burial will be in Park Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association in memory of Bev Sweezy. On line condolences may be sent at www.ulmerfh.com.
