Glen Alan Rountree, age 53, Neosho, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at St. Louis, Missouri after a short illness.
Glen was born April 25, 1962 in Ajo, Arizona, son of the late Charles Franklin Rountree and Pauline Martin Rountree Pritchett of Salt Lake City, Utah. His family moved to Salt Lake City from Arizona while he was a child, and he graduated from High School in Salt Lake City. He then moved to Springfield, Missouri, and went to College to earn his degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. He worked in the Springfield area for several years as a health care provider, before marring Mary Hoyt on February 22, 1992. The couple moved to Neosho where he worked as a truck driver for several companies, most recently KOCH Trucking. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
In addition to his wife, Mary Rountree, and his mother, Pauline Pritchett, Glen is survived by four children, Patrick Charles Rountree of Manhattan, Kansas, Jennifer Megan Rountree of Neosho, Jennifer Marle` Belk of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Samantha Michelle Rountree of Neosho; grandchildren, Skyler Luella Rose Rountree and Gavin Charles Rountree; brothers, Phillip Rountree (Rena), Kevin Rountree (Christine), Von Rountree, and Noble Rountree (Stacy); sisters, Lisa Rountree and Vikki Funk; several nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
Celebration of Life Service
Sunday April 3, 2016, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Lampo Building, Neosho, Missouri. There will be a potluck dinner and a time for family and friends to share memories of Glen.
