(From Parker Mortuary)
Elizabeth A. 'Jackie' Uber Lundien passed away at her home in Carl Junction, Missouri on March 16, 2016 of a sudden illness. She was born March 1, 1931 in Carthage, Missouri, the only child of the late Marvin and Elizabeth (Taylor) Uber.
Jackie married the love of her life, Jeff Lundien on September 20, 1947. He preceded her in death on June 27, 2012. She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jenel; a son, Marvin, who died October 20, 2013 and her parents.
She loved her family gatherings at the lake, square dancing and the friends they made through the years of great fun.
Jackie had many hobbies: painting, leaded glass, fishing and many projects Jeff was always coming up with. They survived building several houses but she never quite learned how to be a lineman or do electrical wiring. Her sons always did that.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Lundien and his wife, Patricia, Ron Lundien and his wife, Robin; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
A memorial graveside is planned for Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Carl Junction Cemetery. Rev. Bob Simon will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
