Earlene B. Moriondo Evans, 77, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at her home.
Earlene was born September 13, 1938 in Monett, MO. She was the daughter of Frank and Emma Mayhew. She resided on the Sarcoxie Prairie for over 30 years, moving to Carthage in 1992. Earlene co-owned and operated E & E Trailer Sales in Sarcoxie, and held various other jobs until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and was currently a member at Grace Episcopal Church in Carthage. Earlene married Eugene Moriondo in 1960 and he preceded her in death in 2000.
Earlene was united in marriage to Ted Evans, Sr. in November 2000. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2014. Earlene is survived by one son Larry Moriondo and his wife Rita, their children Elizabeth, Joe, Mark and his wife Maranda, two daughters Theresa Moriondo of Oklahoma City, OK and her daughter Bethany, and Cynthia Jett Renkoski of Monett and her children Emme Brattin and her husband Michael, Jonell Gottlieb and her husband Aaron, and Joseph Krueger. Other survivors include two stepdaughters Carolyn Evans, Pam Robertson and her husband Mike, and one stepson Ted Evans, Jr. and his wife Debra, and their families. Earlene was preceded in death by one son Robert Eugene Moriondo, her parents, and her brother Bill Mayhew
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Ulmer Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, south of Sarcoxie. Contributions may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sarcoxie in care of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
