Wilma Louise Waggoner, age 84 of Joplin, Mo. passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Spring River Christian Village following an illness.
Louise was born on September 5, 1931 in Carthage, Mo. the daughter of Dave and Ruby (Reynolds) Utter. She has been a lifetime area resident and spent her days loving and caring for her family as a homemaker. Louise was a member of Central Christian Center Church in Joplin.
She married Stanley Waggoner on December 22, 1948, he preceded her in death on October 25, 2005. Louise was also preceded by a son, Randy Waggoner, one daughter, Laura Pequignot, and a sister, Ruth Leslie. She is survived by three sons; Chuck Waggoner of Joplin, Eddie Waggoner and wife Alicia of Joplin, Ronnie Waggoner of Webb City, Mo., two daughters; Connie Keller and husband Alfred of Joplin, Marilee Letts of Joplin, two brothers; Davey Utter of Joplin, Bob Utter of Springfield, Mo., over thirty grandchildren and over twenty great-grandkids.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Chaplain Justin Coberley, will officiate. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m. Monday.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
