(From Clark Funeral Home)Lula Sandra "Sandy" McGehee, age 79, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 9:14 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at her home with family by her side. She was born August 23, 1943, in Neosho, to Walter and Viola (Landon) Osborn. Sandy lived in Neosho for many years. She worked for the One Hour Cleaners, Kraft Foods, and La-Z-Boy and was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church.
On December 23, 1958, she married Orville McGehee Jr. at her parent's home in Neosho. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2004.
Sandy enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons, Scott McGehee and Greg (Crystal) McGehee of Neosho; one brother, Don Osborn; one sister, Ila Jane Haggard; four grandchildren, Seth (Crystal) McGehee, Melinda (Derrick) Crouch, Garrett (Elizabeth) McGehee, Connor (fiancé Breanna Kellogg) McGehee; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, her daughter-in-law, Barbara McGehee, and her brother Bill Osborn preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, with burial at Gibson Cemetery in Neosho. Serving as pallbearers: Seth McGehee, Garrett McGehee, Connor McGehee, Josh Cannon, Grayson Farrar, and Justin Crouch. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022, in the funeral home.
