(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Timothy Wayne Hodgson, age 55 of Columbus, Kansas passed away peacefully in his sleep at home, Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
Tim was born September 13, 1968 to the late James and Victoria (Stubbs) Hodgson in Hawarden, Iowa.
He married Juanita Marie Burchett on July 27, 1990 in Miami, Oklahoma; she survives of the home.
During his life he worked for Calibrated Forms for 25 years, was a stay at home dad for a few years and then delivered pharmaceutical products for 6 years. The time he spent with his family and friends was very important to him. He also enjoyed computers and playing online games with his friends and family.
Also surviving Tim are two sons: Samuel Hodgson and Jonathan Hodgson, both of the home; two brothers: John (wife Renee) Hodgson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and David (wife Lisa) Hodgson of Alcester, South Dakota; one sister: Melissa (husband Justin) Larcombe of Joplin, Missouri, along with several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Derfelt Funeral Home of Columbus, Kansas; visitation will follow the service. Cremation will take place after.
