Cheryl Butler

Cheryl Ann Butler was born July 22, 1938 in Fresno, California and entered into rest on January 3, 2017 at her home in Neosho at the age of 78, following a lengthy illness.

Cheryl had lived in the area since 2011 and had worked as a legal secretary. She loved to garden, flowers, being outdoors and fishing. She was a member of the Neosho First Baptist Church. 

Cheryl and Joseph ‘Joe’ Butler were married on August 5, 1978 and he survives. Additional survivors include a son, Ken Butler and wife, Mary of Joplin and grandson, Jacob Butler of Joplin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilmar and Ruby (Eiland) Reynolds and two brothers, Dean Reynolds and Dell Reynolds. Services will be Monday, January 9, 2017 at 1 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Rev. Jack Jones will officiate. Burial will be in the Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery, south of Neosho. The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service from noon until service time. Contributions in memory of Cheryl may be made to the Newton County Cancer Council, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, Missouri 64850.
