Roger Gene Donham, 69, of Carl Junction, MO passed away at 8:15am on Monday, January 2, 2017 at home following a short battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family.
Roger was born on November 29, 1947 to Kenneth and Mae Durham-Donham. He was a lifelong resident of Carl Junction and an Army veteran. Roger married Beverly Sawyer on November 24, 1969 and is survived by her. Roger worked with his brother Lee Roy in the gold and precious metals industry.
He is survived by his two children Rhonda and husband Danny, Roger and husband Oscar, his two grandchildren Kimberly and husband Adam, Kyle and wife Mandy, his five brothers Robert and wife Judy, Wayne and wife Doris, Paul and wife Linda, Richard, and Lee Roy and wife Becky.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and daughter Renea.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Frisco Church. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Ocular Melanoma Foundation to support ongoing research for this rare cancer. www.ocularmelanoma.org in care of the mortuary.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
