(From Lockwood Funeral Chapel)Charlotte B. Huser, of Golden City, MO, departed this life on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, in the Good Shepherd Community Care and Rehabilitation Facility at the age of 85.
She was born on October 10, 1936 in Elizabeth, NJ to Herbert and Bertha D. (Dormer) Giehmann. Charlotte graduated from Joplin High School, and received her Nursing Degree from Missouri Southern State College.
She was united in marriage to John Robert Huser on March 27, 1955 in Sarcoxie, MO. Charlotte worked as a Nurse throughout her life. She was a wonderful homemaker. Charlotte was a member of the Lockwood First Baptist Church.
She was a city girl and when she moved to farm country, she learned how to cook from her neighbor, Helen Mein. Charlotte was an exceptional baker, and was known especially for her pies. She enjoyed cooking, and would cook many meals for the Golden City Rotary Club at the community building. Charlotte also enjoyed traveling. She strived to be the best farmer’s wife she could be. John and Charlotte were married for 56 years. Together, they loved and nurtured over 20 foster children in their home.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Herbert and Bertha Giehmann; her husband, John Huser; one son, Glen Alan Huser; her sister, Ruth Dimmick and her husband Byron; and her brother at the age of two.

Survivors include three sons, David Huser and wife Cheryl, Mark Huser and wife Nancy, and Matthew Myers; one daughter, Joy Brauer and Jamie Carty; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Pippenger Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Lockwood Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mid-America Transplant. Services are under the care of Lockwood Funeral Chapel.
