Cynthia (Cindy) Ann Smith Harper passed away on July 26th, 2022 at her home in Republic, Missouri.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, October 15th at the 417 Gathering Place, 1905 B South Glenstone Avenue, Springfield, Missouri.
Cindy was born November 8, 1953 in Joplin, Missouri. She attended Granby Elementary School and graduated from East Newton High School in 1971. She worked at Integrity Home Health Care & Hospice for many years prior to her retirement.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents Bill Jr. Smith and Jahala Emma Smith.
Cindy is survived by her son Stephen W. Harper and wife Lisa of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, brother Jeff W. Smith and wife Cathy of Burleson, Texas and sister Linda Vandeweerd of Bolivar, Missouri. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alisha Griffin, Aimee Needham and husband Ethan, great granddaughters Ophelia and Journey Griffin, Presley, Harbor Needham and great grandson Illiam Needham, and her beloved dog Molly. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to The American Heart Association.
