Reba Dinwiddie

Reba Jo Dinwiddie of Joplin, MO went to rest in the arms of her Savior on October 2, 2023. She was 81. Reba was born on June 19, 1942 in Comanche, OK to John and Lasca Morse.

Reba was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, teacher, an amazing cook, seamstress, and avid dog lover. She enjoyed embroidery, cross stitching, crossword puzzles and loved sitting outside in her rocking chair. 








She was a minister's wife and traveled the evangelistic field for many years. She taught at Victory Christian Academy, was a Nanny, worked at McDonalds, was a volunteer for many years at St. John’s/Mercy Auxiliary and retired from BioLife Plasma Services. She was a member of Harmony Heights Baptist Church where she sang in the choir with her husband Kenneth.

Reba was preceded in death by both her parents John Morse and Lasca Morse. Kenneth Dinwiddie, her husband of 26 years. Her daughters, Sherri Chisum and Teressa Chisum and her great-granddaughter, Darcy Chisum.

Reba is survived by her children, Barbara Brown and husband Keithen of Paris, TX. Richard Chisum and wife Sue of Henreyetta, OK. Donna Serio and husband Rob of Bella Vista, AR. Aimee Taylor and husband Brian of Joplin, MO. A stepson, Brian Dinwiddie and wife Kim of Webb City, MO and a stepdaughter, Janell Dinwiddie and Michael Newman of Berkley Springs, WV. Her grandchildren Micah Brown, Whitney Farmer, Chad Chisum, Clint Cook, Amanda McNespey, Emilie Barnes, Katlyn Blake, Bailey Taylor, Kaitey Hembree, Noah Hembree, Carter Hembree and Kendal Dinwiddie, as well as all of her great grands. She is also survived by her sister Mary Kimball and husband Ronnie of Comanche, OK.

Funeral services have been scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Mason-Woodard Chapel. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the mortuary.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
